Born in Scotland and having made Canada my home in 1972, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the rich cultural fabric of Montreal before moving to Toronto in 1985. My career began as a Foreign Exchange Currency Broker, but in 2006, I transitioned to Real Estate—a field where I’ve truly found my calling.

I believe that the cornerstone of a successful real estate agent is the ability to listen and understand clients’ needs. My approach is all about building strong relationships based on integrity, trust, and hard work. I’m dedicated to helping others achieve their real estate dreams, and I won’t rest until those dreams are realized.

Family is incredibly important to me. My wife and I enjoy the company of our two Border Collies, Molly and Cooper. I’m passionate about dog rescues and regularly contribute to support these organizations. Additionally, I’m an avid foodie and love exploring new culinary experiences.

He traveled great distances and within a short time frame to be able to show us the house through zoom (due to COVID-19 and our restrictions with traveling). He always took his time with us and never once made us feel rushed. He was very professional, had a great sense of humour, and worked above and beyond any realtor, we have ever encountered. Buying a house from out of province, especially during a pandemic, can be tricky, but Walter always provided us with sound advice. We have had the pleasure of knowing Walter first as a neighbour, then as a friend and most recently as our real estate a...We have had the pleasure of knowing Walter first as a neighbour, then as a friend and most recently as our real estate agent. We started our journey together as real estate agent/clients nine weeks ago when we spoke to Walter about selling our house and downsizing. He educated us on the power of decluttering, deciding on what we wanted to keep and get rid of and the value of staging. His recommendation was to bring the stager in early in the process to walk through each room, determine what stays and goes and what the stager will bring in; the importance of lightening and showcasing how big each room can look. This proved to be invaluable. Then it came to buying our new home before we could put our current home on the market. We have bought and sold many homes in the past and never had one that went smoother than this time round. Walter’s ability to negotiate, operate in good faith and truly represent our needs ended up in us getting a beautiful property that hit everything on our ‘must have’ list. Then he did it a second time when we sold our house and he helped negotiate and land us with a sale price that was wayyyy over asking! The staging was absolutely gorgeous and really showcased our home. Walter ensured we got the maximum for our home, acted in our best interest and helped ease the anxiety. Walter also has ‘a person’ for anything we need. A person to clean carpets, do deep cleaning, fix brick etc. etc. and that has helped immensely to get things done. Both in our current home and in our new home. Walter would never let us buy a home or live in an area that wouldn’t meet his own standards. We would never hesitate to recommend Walter as he will have your back, get you the best deal possible and always have your best interest at the heart of everything he does. Thank you Walter!
